Carried out according to ISO standard 1940 GR.1.0, Canmec’s balancing process minimizes the need for counterweights across the entire operating speed range of the machine. Canmec monitors balancing needs throughout the roll manufacturing process, ensuring up to 80% of the rolls produced have no counterweights inside the shell. Through its manufacturing expertise, Canmec’s roll feature imperceptible vibration at 50% critical speed. |
